Tools we can use! In much the same way we grab for a hammer when we need to drive a nail, we can start to build a list of tools that we reach for when in need for our health. Here are a few.

Tools

-Affirmations- Simply put they work.ย  Leading neuroscientists like Andrew Huberman talk about the physical and chemical changes repeated mantras bring about. Developing four affirmations around our new healthy habits is part of the program this week in our steps! These are tough to built into habit, at least for me. So to help us start the habit they are a daily reminder in the programs steps for the next two weeks. This is a good morning drive tool.

- Bobby Approved App - You can scan items to see if they are "bobby approved" This app is pretty good at sniffing out the bad ingredients

New documentary out, hack your gut. These are getting difficult to stay on top of. Haha. This one is pretty good if learning the basics of the gut still. Itโ€™s kinda elementary in nature, and goes a little sideways when they talk about the app that will tell u what u should eat. Donโ€™t ever be tempted to buy into this stuff. All we need to do is eat Whole Foods. Thatโ€™s it period. Then for those struggling to lose weight or with digestive issues. We fast so that clears things up. We infuse natural good bacteria with fermented foods such as apple cider vinegar, and raw veggies. We eat a variety of good producing gut microbes in the stew. We bolster the nutritional density with raw bone broth instead of beef or chicken stocks filled with sodium. . And most importantly once the gut is healing up we attackโ€ฆ

Let us remember to FEED not only our body the good stuff but also the soul. This sounds funny but our true nature on the inside tends to drive change to the physical nature. Our soul desires daily nourishment. Iโ€™m finding that for me if I can find laughter in my day, music, gratitude, a nature walk, and a little spiritual reading that everything else seems to fall into place more easily.
