Hey guys,

I just listened to Awakening by Daniel Pompas. It is 25 mins long and yes he is trying to sell you something, but the premise of the movie is exactly what we are trying to do here. Fixing our cells to feel better with good nutrition and healing the gut!

He talks about chronic inflammation, brain fog, low energy and the fact that most doctors want to give you a pill to fix your symptoms.

I am sure if you have been following this plan you can already feel the difference. Think about how you are going to move forward when this program ends. I know I am and I want to continue to feel the best I can. You got this!!

Whats everyone eating?!!...

Hi all!! I have done a few cuts. Had a family emergency, so I am just finishing up the chicken tomorrow. Im trying to read through to catch up, and im not seeing much....I dont belong to the gym due to distance. Im not sure if everyone is sharing personally or if this round is just different.

Im looking for ideas of what to start with this week. Looking forward to making some fun things. Also, wanted a reminder of how to incorporate foods along the journey. What are we limited to after the chicken? Tapioca flour and parm cheese ok for these next week's?

Since im so behind, any input is greatly appreciated!! Thank you!!!

Jen, I have been eating the food on the list that we received. Honestly, I either eat roasted vegetables and a protein that I bake or a salad with protein on top. I use basil olive oil on my roasted vegetables and salad. I have been munching on lots of mini peppers too. It may seem a little monotonous but I enjoy it. Also, I am trying to eat more vegetables. For breakfast or snack, I may eat Greek plain yogurt with chia seeds and hot honey or berries. Hope this helps.

Good morning. I’m feeling positive about the changes that I have made since starting the winter cut. I know the goal isn’t strictly weight loss, but I’m feeling a little frustrated that the scale isn’t moving that much. It does up .2, down .2, or stays the same. I am down 5 pounds since February 13, but can’t figure out why no more progress.

Any suggestions? Thanks for letting me vent.

@Everyone Unfortunately there are two factors at play one of which most “holistic” people ignore or many don’t believe in at all! Im going to make a post about this. But the gist is that some have a genetic predisposition to insulin resistance. Having spent 7 years at the top genetics company in the world, I’ll tell you first hand that our genes matter. Some are more susceptible to cancer, some male pattern baldness, and yes some insulin resistance. Know that if it’s going slow that insulin resistance is the culprit and that time will reverse it as others have said below. It took Shirley a few months to correct and Kiersten 60 days. Stay the course and know its worth it!!! In fact not only does weight depend on it but many are now calling Alzheimer’s type 3 diabetes. You did nothing wrong, but u can do something to help. This is why I liked cancer genetics because knowing what one is at high risk for just empowers them to protect and screen.

As an ex med device guy, I love medical research and still subscribe to all the journals. Weekend Sports

I’m spending this weekend at a volleyball tournament. I packed veggies this morning for when I broke my fast and put the chicken over salad. I used a little ACV, mustard and EVOO for the dressing. It packed easily 🤞🤞I can make it home by dinner for chicken and sprouts. Good luck to all of you fasting this weekend or navigating kids sports! 💪
