How are things going?

I'm checking in to see how things are going. Have you tried any of the tips or strategies provided? What do you find to be a struggle or challenge? What have you found to be useful or beneficial?

For me personally...I am trying to stay connected to simplicity, process, rhythm, and presence. Easier said than done. It requires daily mindfulness. I will go for several days in a good rhythm and then find the mental fatigue that comes with establishing new patterns of behavior will have me seeking novelty or escape. But overall I find I'm headed in a better direction, feeling more grounded...more like my true self....less distracted...more centered.

What about all of you?

Aged, hard cheeses like parmesian, cheddar, and gouda have less sugar and lactose. Also, goat cheese naturally has less lactose. Also...just from my own perspective, the occasional mozzarella cheese. For those who are casein (the protein in cheese) sensitive it is recommended to avoid cheese in general. But I can have any of the above mentioned cheeses as a one off and be fine. More than that...not a chance...lol.

Pure Relaxation

We are often told that it is important to relax, to unwind, to allow the body to restore itself. Sometimes this is easier said than done. We try to be still, to breathe deeply, to empty our mind, but sometimes it can feel like the body just won't let go. It's likely because our muscles are embedded in a deep holding pattern that is engaged below the level of our conscious awareness. In the attached article, there are 4 body positions that you can try that disengage that feedback loop that keeps your muscles activated so you can find full relaxation.
