60 Days of NO Bad Oils, Processed Sugar, Gluten(see below), processed meats, or MSG.(also see below)
5 years of battling arthritis and spinal stenosis from a late stage Lyme infection and my body waivers between stiff and miserable to start each day vs stiff and manageable. The difference? What I eat. At first you see no correlation, and it’s as if for no apparent reason one day is way worse than the other. Then you notice that everytime you eat a certain place you feel like crap. Eventually your body just tells you. These are my top five(above) triggers for a miserable day or days. What happened is I got tired of it. I went the easy way this past year with corticosteroids and Gapapentin for the nerve compression justifying the decision based on the strenuous and physical requirement of the new gymbuildout. Yet this I knew was a temporary bandaid and now that I’m off of them entirely I need a reminder of what I can do from diet alone.

@Everyone Why is gluten bad? It’s not. Like so many issues in our food it’s not gluten that is the problem. It’s that we create hybrid dwarf varieties in the US to produce a larger quantity on a smaller plot size and “gluten” aka a natural binding agent, is produced in abundance in these dwarf and red hard wheat varieties. Having said that the other issue is that we eat so many processed grains where the fiber content can’t dilute the gluten result. Simply put too much gluten in the system without fiber equates to a gluey interior. MSG is nuero toxic and can cause rapid ice pic headaches and systemic inflammatory issues.
