Fasting notes
I fasted early because sometimes my life’s plans dictate my fasts ha some bullets after doing it…
Salt salt salt. Make sure you get pink hym salt. You can suck on the rocks or twist some in water. Anytime I feel off I have more salt and then usually feel better.
If you have heavy legs or camps I supplement with magnesium and that helps almost right away.
Drink a ton of water.
Workout if you want and if you don’t want use the time to rest and reflect! Pay attention to how many times you want to reach for food (kids plates, walking past pantry etc) recognize that and keep it with you to remember the mindless eating when you start eating again.
When you break your fast do it slowly. I do a cup of bone broth, and hour later I have sauerkraut and raw veggies and then eventually I get the glorious stew!
