The goal of your first ever fast shouldn’t necessarily be to make it to ketosis, however if u ate clean some of u will experience it. Ketosis is a unique and measurable experience. With inexpensive blood prick and at home pee strips we can measure the ketones in our blood! After u experience it a few times u don’t need anything to tell u that your in it. Signs are changes in the taste of your breath. Usually starts with atkins bad breath and changes over to more of a dry juicy fruit taste. Energy returns. Insane mental clarity! I have bad AdHd and it’s virtually gone while in ketosis. Other symptoms are reduced cardio output at first while the body adjust to new fats for fuel.
