SUPERHERO YOGA (FOR KIDS) (1)

WHO: Kid's ages 4-10 WHAT: A 1 hr challenging and fun group yoga class with a SUPERHERO theme.  Kids are welcome to wear a superhero costume but certainly not required to do so.  We will spend the first 15 minutes learning 10 yoga poses and warming up. Then we will play three 15 minute superhero games incorporating the poses. Game 1: FREEZE POSE - Each kid will get a card before the song begins depicting the pose.  When the music stops they have to try to hold the pose as long as they can. UNFREEZE, REDRAW, & REPEAT Game 2: VILLAINS VS. SUPERHEROS MATCHING POSE GAME Game 3: ROCK, TREE, BRIDGE - Think Paper, Rock, Scissors with each kid playing the part of ROCK(child's pose) Tree(tree pose of course) Bridge(down dog) For questions email us at getfit@myfitnesssuites.com.
