Summer months are tough for diet change. We are on vacation this week and I thought I’d share my experience with this on vacation and during “party” season.

#1- we need a plan. We order groceries on the way down and plan out our healthy lunch. Dinner we grill or eat lean meats and veggies while out.

#2 - we continue our raw cut veggie bin on vacation. It’s like bringing your vitamins, minerals, supplements, and fiber.

#3- snacking- separate your own designated snack shelf with nuts, seeds, rx bar type low ingredient on the go, cut up veggies, yogurts, berries, homemade almond muffins and breads, nut spreads, coffee with vanilla, cinnamon, and almond milk. Etc.

#4- use a fast to reset if all else fails but the longer we maintain consistency the longer the residential effects of the regulated hormones, blood sugar, etc.

Hey all! Any good snack ideas out there? I’m really burning out on only raw veggies with guac and plain yogurt with fruit. I haven’t cheated yet but feel the temptation starting to creep up and want to get ahead of it with some new things. Send me your go-tos!
